Sigg Jones
Sigg Jones from Asterokid on Vimeo.
As a new project approaches for my English class, we are exploring different types, and methods of film. Sigg Jones is a perfect example of how films use show not tell. This video is six minutes long, yet there isn't really any dialogue. This is because the story is told thought the actions of the characters, and the epic battle that ensues between them. The story is set in an urban environment, right before what appears to be a fight that Sigg is supposed to participate in. Personally, I didn't really enjoy the video, but still the animation was really creative, and fun to watch.

I like the giant cat.
Second Wind from Ian Worrel on Vimeo.
We always watch creative, and unique videos in English, but this has been by far my favorite. The original short film "Second Wind" by Ian Worrel can be seen as either cute, or slightly sad depending on your opinion. I personally thought that the animation amazing. I've never seen anything like it, and maybe that's why I liked it. The music was honestly my favorite, though.
